Annnnd back

Computer’s back up!  WEEEEE

While I work on more digital art, have some work in progress shots of the Claptrap I’m working on.

I decided to finish him like the Jakobs Cove Claptrap since he was interesting looking at kinda steampunk-ish. Going well so far. 🙂

Dragon’s finished!

Need to do more formal images for my portfolio site, but overall I’m pretty happy with this!  Especially since it’s finally done now!!

I hit it with sandpaper to take down some of the paint and ink, then hit it with another black wash.  On to the next 🙂

But I do have 2 year old unfinished ceramics pieces!  So, in the absence of digital sculpture, I’ll post the physical sculpture.

So, left side is raw bisqueware, the right is after a few (read: A LOT) of wash passes.  Tea dyed base, then ink washes.

I like the look of this side better.

I’ve just finished up a few enamel (thinned down heavily) washes and another ink wash.  I’m going to wait until the sun is out before doing more.

Tiki Manny!

Pretty much done.  Might do some tweeks after getting some feedback, but for the most part he’s done.

Looks pretty good with a normal/spec map!  I’m happy with his chunky-ness, he looks pretty close to a carved tiki with some stained paint.

This’ll be going on my website soon along with the normal/spec maps.
